On June 9, CASC and Trident United Way Community Enrichment Grant hosted a Farm to Table event to distribute $25.00 Farmers Market vouchers to low-income seniors at the Senior Center.
Over 300 participants and guests were treated to healthy breakfast provided by Low Country Food Bank. Lunch was provided by The Tomato Shed, including fresh cooking herb plants from Clemson Extension, and nutrition consultations by Palmetto Community Action Partnership. Throughout the day, a wonderful variety of bands played to the delight of the guests!
